21 And
I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not..
Revelation 2:20-23
Our time
here on earth is an opportunity for us to repent… A time to deal with your
sins, and surrender all to CHRIST.
Our life on
earth is likened to a play I watched a few days ago, where a young man paid the
price to marry a young lady, but the parents of the girl thought he was poor.
He later left to his town to get his royal family to come with him to marry his
wife.
During the
time he was away, the young lady’s parent found another suitor for their child,
and gave her away in marriage to someone who they thought was richer. By the
time the first suitor came back, with his royal family, the young lady was sad
about the whole thing and begged her way back to the prince’s arms, but he
could not take her because she was not only married to another person but
heavily pregnant as well. In reality there is really nothing the prince who
signifies CHRIST can do about this. For this scenario represents CHRIST’S
Second Coming.
8
Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion,
walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:
9
Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are
accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.
1
Peter 5:8-9King James Version (KJV)
The baby
within the young girl is known as sin, if she was steadfast and patient, holding
on to the word of GOD, and ensuring that she did all that she could and waited
on CHRIST, it would have been better for her.
JESUS is
saying in Revelation 2:21 that HE is giving us time to repent, because it will
be too late to repent when HE comes, from every form of sexual immorality.
19 Now
the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication,
uncleanness, lasciviousness, 20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance,
emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, 21 Envyings, murders,
drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I
have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit
the kingdom of God. Galatians 5:19-21
Many leaders
in the past get away with one form of sexual immorality or the other thinking
no one will find out, but according to all the scandals we have seen of many
leaders around the world, no one gets away with sexual immorality, if man doesn't find out, GOD in Heaven is watching.
Be a leader
that has nothing to be afraid of, in case any of your actions were exposed to
the public. Act like someday someone is going to find out. Well people may not
find out, but your followers, who think you are righteous and a worthy leader,
will be watching and paying close attention to you.
As long as
you are a leader, you do not only influence your people but other people are
watching, and many people want to know the secret of your success and certify
if you have any faults at all.
Be
ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath
righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with
darkness? 2 Corinthians 6:14
Thou
art of purer eyes than to behold evil, and canst not look on iniquity:
wherefore lookest thou upon them that deal treacherously, and holdest thy
tongue when the wicked devoureth the man that is more righteous than he? Habakkuk
1:13
To be a
successful leader, you need GOD, and HE cannot behold sin, HE can’t work with
sin. So ensure you have a clean sheet, before GOD.
For
with God nothing shall be impossible. Luke 1:37
Be
ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.
Matthew 5:48
People will
always say it is hard to live for GOD without sin, but JESUS will not ask us to
do the impossible, asking us to be perfect. Flee from every form of sin. You
can be a leader free from every sexual immorality, this comes by having a close
relationship with JESUS by clicking this link bit.ly/ZdKODh
