27 And Jesus went out, and his disciples, into the towns of
Caesarea Philippi: and by the way he asked his disciples, saying unto them,
Whom do men say that I am?
28 And they answered, John the Baptist; but some say, Elias;
and others, One of the prophets.
29 And he saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am? And
Peter answereth and saith unto him, Thou art the Christ.
30 And he charged them that they should tell no man of him.
31 And he began to teach them, that the Son of man must
suffer many things, and be rejected of the elders, and of the chief priests,
and scribes, and be killed, and after three days rise again.
32 And he spake that saying openly. And Peter took him, and
began to rebuke him.
33 But when he had turned about and looked on his disciples,
he rebuked Peter, saying, Get thee behind me, Satan: for thou savourest not the
things that be of God, but the things that be of men.
Mark 8:27-33 King James Version (KJV)
Giving up on people seems to be an easy thing when they are
slackers, not motivated to work and all that! As a leader, sometimes you just
deal with it and stick with them, or sometimes pray that they quit and someone
else starts to work for you. I don't mind slackers. I can deal with them any
day, anytime, by praying to GOD for wisdom and Grace not to give up on them.
People who are hard to work with are people who question the mission, purpose,
and the goal of the whole operation. It's like scratching the skin with
sandpaper or desiring to drink milk, and you get to drink an expired one!
JESUS as a leader had to deal with someone who didn't
believe in His mission. It's hard sometimes to put up with a person who is like
that. What you need to do as the leader,
is to put that person in line and tell him/her what you stand for and what the
mission is. It's not a time to give up on the person and fire the person, or
treat the person less, but it is time for you to encourage the person in the
way. Take a look at the relationship between JESUS and Peter. Peter would be
the worst worker to have. He said JESUS should not die, but during JESUS'
#Trial he denied HIM, but JESUS did not do away with Peter.
When you're dealing with people as a leader, and JESUS tells
you not to do away with people, work with the ones GOD has given you. Like
Judas, some people will leave and GOD will help you figure them out, but don't
give up on them. I know some people can be "Termed bad market". Pray
to GOD for #Wisdom, on how to act on it. Paul had to let go of John Mark during
his mission trips. I have been in situations where GOD said let go of that
person, never work with that person, or don't reveal so much to that person. It
all boils down to your relationship with GOD. You need to hear GOD and what HE
has to say concerning everything. Decisions that need to be made with people
are actually different in most cases. Be patient with the people that GOD says
you should be patient with, and let go of the people HE says you should let go
of. But the #Truth is that the people that GOD says you should stick with may
not be perfect like a sunny day. They may just be like some bitter cold winter.
As long as you're doing what GOD says you should do, then you get the #Spring
out of that situation. You begin to see progress, then comes the #Summer season
and you see them blossom like no other. The only way you can know what to do,
is through a deep and sincere relationship with #JESUS, #Worship, #Bible
#Study, #Pray, #Fast, #Evangelism, and #Speaking in #Tongues
LORD Give me the #Wisdom as a Leader to deal with people the
way you want me to, IN JESUS NAME, AMEN.
As a leader, you need vision which comes from a closer relationship with JESUS (James 4:8), and you can have one by clicking this link http://bit.ly/ZdKODh
8 Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.
