Who do you want?! #LeaderMemoir

I happened to listen to two business leaders in person, one is in the corporate world and the other is in the fashion industry. Both of them were interested in two types people, this is beyond people who could just do the job, it was about personality. One thing I hear people say is, "We can train people for the job, but we can't give them a personality".
.
.
The woman from the  corporate world said,  we  look for impatient people. People who do everything within themselves to make sure the right results are obtained! We train them, but they have to  think for themselves and create a path to success.

GOD will provide

The biggest question sometimes as a leader is if you're meant to be here? You're in a situation where everything seems to be in funk!  You can't figure everything out! One thing you have to settle in your heart is, you know you're not here by your own doing. GOD has blessed you to be here, all you have to do is trust HIM that everything will work out in the end!
.
.
I wanted to give up some many times as a leader, especially last year! The load was too heavy to carry but I trusted the fact that, I'm exactly where GOD wanted me to be, when I came to terms with it. I just had to hold onto GOD during the storm, I learned a lot of lessons and trusted the Faithfulness of GOD! And for sure HE did provide for me through all the dark days, from strength to keep going, to community that surrounded me, to just peace in my heart reminding myself that it will be alright!

Focus on one thing! #LeaderMemoirs .

.
As a leader the hunger to be the best or get everything done to perfection can be awesome and at the same time be overwhelming!! It can even be so toxic to keep going, what you need is to pick a battle don’t try to do it all! There will always be an opportunity here or there just pick something you want to be known for and focus on it!
.
.
McDonald’s is known for their cheap burgers 🍔, while Chick-fil-A is known for its premium chicken burgers that are pricey! McDonald’s is cheap and edible enough and it’s available almost 24hours a day in some locations. Chick-fil-A is only open 6 days a week from about 6am to 10pm. They are both in business, being profitable but known for one thing **One is always available the other is top quality** , they are not trying to do everything!

Not everyone is outstanding! #Leadership .

One thing as a leader is to settle in your heart that not everyone you have to work with will be the best in their field, the most important thing is to be able let people function to the best of their abilities as they get the job done which is priority No.1, Because that’s why we are here!

Capacity to Lead! #LeaderMemoirs

We were always grinding, we didn’t remain where we started, we became hungrier! But as a leader there was so much I could give at this stage. I didn’t have enough to feed our hungry talents, I lacked management skills to keep the over talented people with the team. So when people who wanted more wanted to leave, they left and I was happy! Because I knew it will be nice to keep them but deep down I no longer have cubs but lions now,  the appetite is different, so its ok when they leave, until I have what it takes to feed a pride! Until then I just maintain my nursery!
.
.
When I was a leader of a band, people who were hungry for more than what I could afford, they didn’t stay too long and were dissatisfied with  my status-quo, so it was better for us to part ways!
.
.
One thing you learn in being a leader is knowing you can't have everyone on your team, or you just can't keep some people for so long! Ask yourself if you can lead them before you decide to work with them, they may be good, fit your work culture and be productive but can you feed their thirst?

Don’t beg them to stay! #LeaderMemoirs

One of the things you will deal with leadership, is the fear of dealing with good or fair people leaving you, and you asking where would you find talent like that again?!

Listen if they want to go let them go, there so much you can do to convince them to stay, also if they have their minds made up let it be. You’re  going somewhere far and a person in your team with their mind set on another thing can ruin your process of progress! As a leader you don’t want someone who you begged to stay ruin your reputation,

There is a Reward after you give whatever it takes.. #Leadership

A buddy of mine stepped into the cooperate world, knowing that GOD had led HIM to work on a project he had very little experience in, but was available, ready to learn and give his all to do whatever it takes to succeed. In a couple months he learned the ropes and had to lead a team on several projects. We prayed together for Wisdom, that GOD will guide and make him successful! At the end of the day he made it, he became a force to reckoned with, and he is helping people who have more experience than he does! I won't say there were no bad days, where we questioned if GOD really wanted him to stay in that line of work, but we trusted GOD, that got us through the good times will get us through the bad ones! The good things people have to say about him and the job right now is amazing! It pays to hold on!!!

Leading to the unknown

A true leader they say,  is one who leads his people to the unknown. If you want to lead people to a place they have never been and achieve awesome results, as a Christian leader you have to draw inspiration from a deep place of revelation, trust and faith in GOD. There will be days where you will come to end of the rope, and all you have is just your faith in GOD and the process you’re in. And you don’t  have to  lose hope, because you’re leading a people to somewhere awesome.

When your Passion is dared.. Still Stick to it..

In being a Christian Leader in the world that we live in and also dealing with the standards of GOD, knowing HE will always put challenges right in front of you to test that HE is the Almighty! The visions, dreams, goals and many more, GOD has laid in your heart will be tested and you have to stick to the yardstick!

Dare GOD! You Christian…

The king answered unto Daniel, and said, Of a truth it is, that your God is a God of gods, and a Lord of kings, and a revealer of secrets, seeing thou couldest reveal this secret. Daniel 2:47

I long for a time when the economy is in distress and the society is confused about the daily struggles and they just call a Pastor to give them “the advice” on how deal with the issue.

Wait your Boss can go!

There is always that moment that been waiting for, that promotion, but it involves your Boss leaving or someone just has to quit somewhere for you to move up the ladder, for some weird reason you don’t feel its happening anytime soon! And you feel there is no point in putting more effort in the quality of work you’re delivering…

And he changeth the times and the seasons: he removeth kings, and setteth up kings: he giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding: Daniel 2:21

First you have to trust GOD’S timing, next don’t  give up on your delivery, don’t sweat it, just enjoy the moment of not having so much responsibilities , because it tell on you with “worry”, how badly you want it, just chill, it may even begin to seem that there is more to it , than what it really is…. GOD can promote you in HIS time, you just have to be patient, and work on your loop holes, there is

When GOD gives you Grace! Give HIM Praise….

Daniel answered and said, Blessed be the name of God for ever and ever: for wisdom and might are his: Daniel 2:20

When  GOD gives you the opportunity to lead, there will be numerous scenarios that will come up that will prove you’re a true leader. When you constantly come up with ways to solve the issues, remember GOD!

Don’t let go of the standards

As you journey through the Training don’t let go of the standards GOD has raised you with!

.
.
But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king's meat, nor with the wine which he drank: therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself. Daniel 1:8
.
.
As our lives move from one situation to another by the hand of GOD, there will be occasions to drop the standards of living. There will be times you will be engrossed in places where your Christian faith is not acknowledged or reverenced at all! And it will be up to you to set that standard.
.
.
The Christian Faith will always bear fruits of obedience, being just in all you do, honesty, forgiveness, take your job seriously, be hard working, keep to time, being tolerant with every situation and everyone. These standards may not be evident where you are but it’s something you can instill.

Give your followers their supposed benefits

In being a leader it’s easy to get carried away with the coach mentality, and keep pushing people towards their goals and not care about their feelings…. Or say to yourself sometimes “that I endured more than you guys did during my own days”…. One thing I learned in being a leader is to learn to make your people happy when you can. Give them a break, don’t be an overkill boss!
.
.

GOD made you a leader for a reason and he put people under you for a reason.
.
.
GOD takes treatment of your workers very seriously, for HE PUT THEM IN YOUR HANDS. Jeremiah 34:13-22

Be very careful. The devil can use people who are led by the SPIRIT. Don’t give up on them as a leader. Mark 8:27-33

27 And Jesus went out, and his disciples, into the towns of Caesarea Philippi: and by the way he asked his disciples, saying unto them, Whom do men say that I am?
28 And they answered, John the Baptist; but some say, Elias; and others, One of the prophets.
29 And he saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am? And Peter answereth and saith unto him, Thou art the Christ.
30 And he charged them that they should tell no man of him.
31 And he began to teach them, that the Son of man must suffer many things, and be rejected of the elders, and of the chief priests, and scribes, and be killed, and after three days rise again.
32 And he spake that saying openly. And Peter took him, and began to rebuke him.
33 But when he had turned about and looked on his disciples, he rebuked Peter, saying, Get thee behind me, Satan: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but the things that be of men.
Mark 8:27-33 King James Version (KJV)

Giving up on people seems to be an easy thing when they are slackers, not motivated to work and all that! As a leader, sometimes you just deal with it and stick with them, or sometimes pray that they quit and someone else starts to work for you. I don't mind slackers. I can deal with them any day, anytime, by praying to GOD for wisdom and Grace not to give up on them. People who are hard to work with are people who question the mission, purpose, and the goal of the whole operation. It's like scratching the skin with sandpaper or desiring to drink milk, and you get to drink an expired one!

JESUS as a leader had to deal with someone who didn't believe in His mission. It's hard sometimes to put up with a person who is like that.  What you need to do as the leader, is to put that person in line and tell him/her what you stand for and what the mission is. It's not a time to give up on the person and fire the person, or treat the person less, but it is time for you to encourage the person in the way. Take a look at the relationship between JESUS and Peter. Peter would be the worst worker to have. He said JESUS should not die, but during JESUS' #Trial he denied HIM, but JESUS did not do away with Peter.

As a leader ensure that you tell the instructions GOD has given you to the people, you ought to tell. Leviticus 21:24

As a leader, ensure that you tell the instructions GOD has given you to the people you ought to tell. Leviticus 21:24

GOD directs HIS leaders on how to deal with HIS people, but it's up to you to do something about it... Preach to the people what GOD has put in your heart ... Teach from past experiences and be sensible and practical with them. Show and explain to them as best as possible the essentials and benefits of a #Strong and #Solid #Relationship with #GOD. As a leader, put it upon yourself to make sure you are not leaving your people the same as they were. Personal growth for them is necessary, and it's necessary you're a part of their growth.

GOD needs the people HE has placed in your hands, and it's up to you to present good solid results.
Ask GOD for revelation on how to help your people because you have to meet people on different levels!

#Prayer Point: If ye shall #ask any thing in my #name, I will do it.
John 14:14 King James Version (KJV)

LORD, thank you for making me a leader for your will and purpose, IN JESUS NAME, AMEN.

Be the #Leader that rules #Right!

Be the #Leader that rules #Right!

15 He that justifieth the wicked, and he that condemneth the just, even they both are abomination to the Lord.
Proverbs 17:15 King James Version (KJV)

As a leader do not ever condemn the righteous, for it is an abomination before the LORD. Proverbs 17:15

As a Christian you tell yourself, "I will always do what is just". "I won't flow with the #Crowd. I will live for JESUS #Totally." However, when such person stays in power for a while, common sense begins to wither and we see "an all righteous leader" doing otherwise.

We saw this happen to David and Solomon. One would think that since they saw the divine hand of GOD helping and advancing them, they would not do anything against HIM! They did backslide, and did what was sinful in the sight of GOD!

The question arises. Can I become famous, rich, and powerful in life and still live entirely for JESUS? The answer is yes! Joseph was never drunk with power and lived every day for GOD, Daniel was a total righteous man, and above all JESUS became well known and powerful yet HE was always humble and loyal to GOD. (Research their stories in the Bible to learn about them).

The characteristic of successful and loyal people in the #Bible, is the fact that they always referenced GOD. They always gave HIM credit for everything every time someone wanted to give them honor for their works!

To always be in a place that you don't want to fall into the trap of the enemy, it comes from a sincere relationship with JESUS.

As a leader, you sometimes feel like you have everything under control and everything is ok. You sometimes don't know when you are dwindling in your performance, and sometimes as a leader with so much utterance, you may have a prestige where no one can rebuke you or tell you  "you're not really of excellent performance"... Alternatively, you may just be saying everything is going well giving a real and fundamental excuse for not doing this or that!

I used to think everything was ok. I just needed to sort a couple of things out and I would be back in business writing for GOD! However, days turned into weeks and weeks into months. A few days ago, I was praying against an attack by the enemy! GOD opened my eyes and I realized that I left the blogging business alone so that I can figure out my life and put things in order and then return. When I looked at my blogs' history, I found out that I hadn't touched some blogs in over 6 months! It's not a thing I would normally play around with. I would work on the blogs at least 3 to 4 times a month. Well, I thank GOD, HIS GRACE AND MERCY FOUND AND BROUGHT ME BACK! I always thought everything was under control! Nevertheless, sometimes we just need to be in the presence of GOD spending time with HIM. When stuff happens for no reason and you can't just explain why, go to GOD and seek HIS face. I was just spending time with GOD, speaking in tongues, which is a perfect way to pray when you don't even have the right words to utter what's in your heart to HIM since the HOLY SPIRIT HELPS US THROUGH THAT MEANS!

The GRACE OF GOD makes us perfect. HOLD ON. STAY STRONG. MAKE SURE YOU'RE DOING YOUR BEST TO BE WITH JESUS MORE EVERYDAY BY READING YOUR BIBLE, PRACTICING WORSHIP, PRAYING, AND FASTING! GOD BLESS YOU! LOVE YOU! JESUS LOVES YOU MORE!!!

#Prayer Point If ye shall #ask any thing in my #name, I will do it.
John 14:14 King James Version (KJV)

LORD, THANK YOU FOR MAKING ME A LEADER FIT FOR YOUR SERVICE, IN JESUS NAME, AMEN.

1 Praise ye the Lord. Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power.

2 Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness.

Psalm 150:1-2 King James Version (KJV)

LORD, HELP AND STRENGTHEN ME WITH YOUR GRACE TO BE CONSISTENT IN YOUR LOVE AND ALWAYS BE FOUND FAITHFUL IN YOUR EYES, IN JESUS NAME, AMEN.

Unity in #Leadership

Unity in #Leadership

And Israel vowed a vow unto the Lord, and said, If thou wilt indeed deliver this people into my hand, then I will utterly destroy their cities.
Numbers 21:2King James Version (KJV)

When you speak in unity, you say "I", and not "we". Numbers 21:2 #JESUS

Unity is an essential thing in leadership. When you and your people can come together under GOD and say "I"... that is the most powerful form of unity where everyone can see themselves as one under GOD. Therefore, nothing can stop you and your people's progress.

7 Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.
8 He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.
9 In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.
10 Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
1 John 4:7-10King James Version (KJV)

You are Free

You are Free

For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.
Romans 8:15 King James Version (KJV)

Freedom…. your birthmark that comes with the fact that you're a born a child of GOD.... Being free is the fact that you wake up in the morning without being tied down to something. No requirement to do anything to ensure your existence or your life.... You're free. Nothing is consuming you with fear that if you don't do this or that you will die or live in fearfulness....

18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.
1 John 4:18 King James Version (KJV)

The love of JESUS sets you free with confidence and no fear of tomorrow, today or anything else.... Living life is like running without shoes on a road filled with broken bottles. You walk around in fear, praying and making sure that you're safe despite the dangers on your way..... But when you're totally broken down, weak all inside and all you have tried didn't work out, you are so weak and hands off!!! You then surrender to the official of the race telling JESUS that you want to run the race the way HE wants you to...

7 The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him.
Psalm 28:7 King James Version (KJV)

As a leader in JESUS, you pick yourself up, and fight life’s battles, since you have committed your life to JESUS... You keep on racing, even when the road tracks are littered with dangerous things that can put you down.... You will have come to a point in your life and say that you are no longer responsible for yourself. That you're totally according to the will of JESUS, forgetting all that is happening trusting why GOD gave you this fight.

6 Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the Lord thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.
Deuteronomy 31:6 King James Version (KJV)

There will be days where all you have is faith. That something good will happen. You pray and hope patiently waiting on JESUS...

1 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
2 I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.
3 Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.
4 He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.
5 Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;
6 Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.
7 A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.
8 Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.
9 Because thou hast made the Lord, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation;
10 There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.
11 For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.
12 They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.
13 Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet.
14 Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.
15 He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.
16 With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.
Psalm 91 King James Version (KJV)

The whole of Psalm 91, blew my mind when I was going through a particular challenge in life and the last two verses just nailed my feelings to the cross and made me feel GOD is actually with me in the whole process....

GOD is so concerned with you... As a leader, you should first sort out your life that the reason for your existence is JESUS. Therefore, forge into war with no fear in your eyes assured that JESUS will stand for you....

We are all equipped to long after JESUS our whole lives. So you're doing everything wrong when you don't. Life is just about JESUS.

As a result, as a leader of GOD, you should know that you're freeeeeeee!!!

#Prayer Points   If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.
John 14:14 King James Version (KJV)

LORD HELP ME TO DEPEND TOTALLY ON YOU

7 In God is my salvation and my glory: the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God.
Psalm 62:7 King James Version (KJV)

LORD LET MY LIFE LONG FOR YOU SOLELY, IN JESUS NAME, AMEN.

23 Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts:

24 And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.
Psalm 139:23-24 King James Version (KJV)

LORD HELP ME TO KNOW THE DEGREE OF FREEDOM THAT I HAVE IN YOU, IN JESUS NAME, AMEN.

36 If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.

Get rid of the wrong people....

Get rid of the wrong people.

5 And it came to pass, as soon as the kingdom was confirmed in his hand, that he slew his servants which had slain the king his father.
But the children of the murderers he slew not: according unto that which is written in the book of the law of Moses, wherein the Lord commanded, saying, The fathers shall not be put to death for the children, nor the children be put to death for the fathers; but every man shall be put to death for his own sin.

2 Kings 14:5-16 King James Version (KJV)

As a leader, the number one thing you should do is to get rid of the wrong people. People who won't promote the will of GOD in your life. This doesn't mean you should kill them as the king above literally did. Ensure you do away with such people. As a leader, play by the rules in the book of GOD.... What GOD says concerning each and every issue is relevant! Ensure that GOD is first, and every other thing later... Nothing should take GOD'S PLACE!!! Not your emotions, feelings, or situations!!! Be aware of that. When it comes to GOD, forget your feelings and do HIS works....

#Prayer Point. If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.
John 14:14 King James Version (KJV)

LORD, HELP ME OBEY YOU NO MATTER HOW HARD IT IS, IN JESUS NAME, AMEN.

As A Leader you are responsible to live for JESUS

As A Leader, you are supposed to live for JESUS.

16 In the seventeenth year of Pekah the son of Remaliah Ahaz the son of Jotham king of Judah began to reign.
2 Kings 16:1-7 King James Version (KJV)

To be responsible is a task that fell upon your shoulders since the day you were born.

14 For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.
Ecclesiastes 12:14 King James Version (KJV)

There is a demand over your life as a Human, which is to live for GOD. In doing that, there is a mission for you. Achieving and fulfilling a purpose is part of the mission that many people have figured it out one way or another!

15 Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:

16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:

17 And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.
Colossians 1:15-17 King James Version (KJV)

Purpose is a result of living for GOD. You are not to live life for yourself; there is nothing to gain from that. Life is a task, job, and duty, all for the name of JESUS. Look at the life of an earnest Christian and compare it to that of an unbeliever. There is a big difference in every way!

22 Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.
2 Timothy 2:22 King James Version (KJV)

You are responsible for staying away from sexual perversion, alcoholism, pleasures of sin, among others. You are not allowed to be young, wild and free, caring less about what happens to you or not. You are a child of a #MIGHTY KING, and there is a code of conduct for an ambassador of CHRIST! A reputation has to be maintained, and a standard of living is required! Not caring about your actions is null and void!

20 Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.
2 Corinthians 5:20 King James Version (KJV)

As a Christian, there is what JESUS calls "JUDGEMENT" for all of us... Your words and actions will be checked. Your efforts and passion in fulfilling the mission for JESUS will be examined! What you made out of the opportunities that GOD gave you...

17 For nothing is secret, that shall not be made manifest; neither any thing hid, that shall not be known and come abroad.
Luke 8:17 King James Version (KJV)

You cannot afford to be a failure in life. Not because of yourself, but because you are royal and a champion made to be fruitful and triumphant in life by making GREAT strides.  For you were created for more.

9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light;
1 Peter 2:9 King James Version (KJV)

#Prayer Point 14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it. John 14:14 King James Version (KJV)

LORD, HELP ME FULFILL MY PURPOSE IN LIFE, IN JESUS NAME, AMEN.

8 The Lord will perfect that which concerneth me: thy mercy, O Lord, endureth for ever: forsake not the works of thine own hands.

As a Christian Leader let it be obvious you serve a #LIVING GOD

As a Christian Leader, let it be obvious that you serve a #LIVING GOD

11 Now therefore perform the doing of it; that as there was a readiness to will, so there may be a performance also out of that which ye have.
2 Corinthians 8:11 King James Version (KJV)

In being a leader, you have to be productive. You have to get in there and do the job. Always ensure that you exceed expectations by giving your all. There is always something expected of a leader, always learn to give your all.

9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.
1 Corinthians 2:9 King James Version (KJV)

As a Christian, don't be passive. Do not let anything happen under your leadership by chance. Always learn to give your all 24/7. Ask GOD why things are happening. Ask GOD, why is this and this happening or why are things not progressing? There is no coincidence in the relationship between you and GOD!

9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light;
1 Peter 2:9 King James Version (KJV)

Always know who you are as a Christian. You are made of more; you are not common. Therefore the place at which you are should not remain the way you encountered it. It should be obvious that there is a Christian leader in the house.

16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
Matthew 5:16 King James Version (KJV)

Ask GOD what HIS plan is in making you a leader. HE didn't just make you a leader to just have a better life or promote you. There is a plan in everything that GOD does. The beauty of being a Christian leader is to be in line with the plan GOD has for your life.
The only way you can get access to #Greatness as a leader is to work with JESUS who is the author and finisher of everything. You can improve your relationship with JESUS, by reading your Bible, praying, worshiping, fasting, and by also clicking this link bit.ly/ZdKODh

Be a leader that is sound minded all the time....

Be a leader with a sound mind all the time.

It is not for kings, O Lemuel, it is not for kings to drink wine; nor for princes strong drink
Proverbs 31:4

As a leader, the responsibility of a lot of people's lives is in your hands. Your mind has to be sound to handle their matters and everything that concerns them. It is, therefore, mandatory that you keep yourself away from everything that will make you unstable and unconscious as a leader.

7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
2 Timothy 1:7 King James Version (KJV)

Your people are your number one priority. Do not let anything cloud your judgment, for anything can come up with anything. Moreover, your specific judgment and recommendation will be needed and will be followed to detail. It will not be good in any way, whereby the advice or judgment you give at that particular time is false or wrong, and people think it’s right, not knowing alcohol influenced your decisions...

29 Who hath woe? who hath sorrow? who hath contentions? who hath babbling? who hath wounds without cause? who hath redness of eyes? 30 They that tarry long at the wine; they that go to seek mixed wine. 31 Look not thou upon the wine when it is red, when it giveth his colour in the cup, when it moveth itself aright. 32 At the last it biteth like a serpent, and stingeth like an adder.33 Thine eyes shall behold strange women, and thine heart shall utter perverse things.
Proverbs 23:29-33

As a leader, there are times you will feel you're under a lot of tension, in which you need something to take off the pressure. Don't take alcohol or any other thing, for it takes the place of GOD...

All our burdens are meant to be cast onto JESUS. Deal with the issues in your life by telling HIM what is bothering you. Do not just sweep your problems under the rug and pretend they do not exist. Be a leader that does not run away from issues. Face them, and GOD will give you the Grace to be victorious over each one of them.

If you don't want alcoholics as your people, as a leader, shun away from alcohol as well...

7 Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.
1 Peter 5:7 King James Version (KJV)

#Prayer Points 14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it. John 14:14King James Version (KJV)

1. LORD, help me to shun away from alcohol, IN JESUS NAME, AMEN.

7 The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul.
Psalm 121:7 King James Version (KJV)

2. LORD, help me to get rid of every indiscipline towards alcohol, IN JESUS NAME, AMEN.

13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
Philippians 4:13 King James Version (KJV)

3. LORD, teach me always to see you as the bearer my burden and not solve my problem with alcohol! IN JESUS NAME, NAME.

1 I will love thee, O Lord, my strength.
2 The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.
Psalm 18:1-2 King James Version (KJV)

30 As for God, his way is perfect: the word of the Lord is tried: he is a buckler to all those that trust in him.

31 For who is God save the Lord? or who is a rock save our God?
32 It is God that girdeth me with strength, and maketh my way perfect.
Psalm 18:30-32 King James Version (KJV)

Sexual Immorality destroys leaders....

Sexual Immorality destroys leaders....

Give not thy strength unto women, nor thy ways to that which destroyeth kings.
Proverbs 31:3

In being a leader you're endowed with time you have being chosen by GOD to rule for a particular time. It now depends on you, what you plan to achieve with the resources you have at your disposal!

Your strength is your life, it depends on you what you want to use it for as a leader. You also have at your disposal human resources, both men and women.... People who can't say no to your decisions....

3 And David sent and enquired after the woman. And one said, Is not this Bathsheba, the daughter of Eliam, the wife of Uriah the Hittite?

4 And David sent messengers, and took her; and she came in unto him, and he lay with her; for she was purified from her uncleanness: and she returned unto her house.
2 Samuel 11:3-4 King James Version (KJV)

It was the time when kings went to war. King David stayed at home, he later saw a woman bathing and decided to call her, he slept with her, and later she was with child...

15 And he wrote in the letter, saying, Set ye Uriah in the forefront of the hottest battle, and retire ye from him, that he may be smitten, and die.
2 Samuel 11:15 King James Version (KJV)

David planned to get her husband, Uriah, killed and everything was done successfully!

10 Now therefore the sword shall never depart from thine house; because thou hast despised me, and hast taken the wife of Uriah the Hittite to be thy wife.
2 Samuel 12:10 King James Version (KJV)

GOD was angry with David, and HE put an everlasting punishment in his life and family. However, JESUS took away the curse. HE was pierced at HIS sides and before HE died, HE said: “It is Finished”… The curse has been lifted.

34 But one of the soldiers with a spear pierced his side, and forthwith came there out blood and water.
John 19:34 King James Version (KJV)

A friend of mine named Heritage always says that it's not difficult for GOD to promote or elevate you. The truth is, you as a person, would you change and become someone else and start sinning against the One who put you there??......

Make the best use of your life as a leader; don't let the devil get you through various ways...

8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.
Joshua 1:8 King James Version (KJV)
