Be a leader that is sound minded all the time....

Be a leader with a sound mind all the time.

It is not for kings, O Lemuel, it is not for kings to drink wine; nor for princes strong drink
Proverbs 31:4

As a leader, the responsibility of a lot of people's lives is in your hands. Your mind has to be sound to handle their matters and everything that concerns them. It is, therefore, mandatory that you keep yourself away from everything that will make you unstable and unconscious as a leader.

7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
2 Timothy 1:7 King James Version (KJV)

Your people are your number one priority. Do not let anything cloud your judgment, for anything can come up with anything. Moreover, your specific judgment and recommendation will be needed and will be followed to detail. It will not be good in any way, whereby the advice or judgment you give at that particular time is false or wrong, and people think it’s right, not knowing alcohol influenced your decisions...

29 Who hath woe? who hath sorrow? who hath contentions? who hath babbling? who hath wounds without cause? who hath redness of eyes? 30 They that tarry long at the wine; they that go to seek mixed wine. 31 Look not thou upon the wine when it is red, when it giveth his colour in the cup, when it moveth itself aright. 32 At the last it biteth like a serpent, and stingeth like an adder.33 Thine eyes shall behold strange women, and thine heart shall utter perverse things.
Proverbs 23:29-33

As a leader, there are times you will feel you're under a lot of tension, in which you need something to take off the pressure. Don't take alcohol or any other thing, for it takes the place of GOD...

All our burdens are meant to be cast onto JESUS. Deal with the issues in your life by telling HIM what is bothering you. Do not just sweep your problems under the rug and pretend they do not exist. Be a leader that does not run away from issues. Face them, and GOD will give you the Grace to be victorious over each one of them.

If you don't want alcoholics as your people, as a leader, shun away from alcohol as well...

7 Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.
1 Peter 5:7 King James Version (KJV)

#Prayer Points 14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it. John 14:14King James Version (KJV)

1. LORD, help me to shun away from alcohol, IN JESUS NAME, AMEN.

7 The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul.
Psalm 121:7 King James Version (KJV)

2. LORD, help me to get rid of every indiscipline towards alcohol, IN JESUS NAME, AMEN.

13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
Philippians 4:13 King James Version (KJV)

3. LORD, teach me always to see you as the bearer my burden and not solve my problem with alcohol! IN JESUS NAME, NAME.

1 I will love thee, O Lord, my strength.
2 The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.
Psalm 18:1-2 King James Version (KJV)

30 As for God, his way is perfect: the word of the Lord is tried: he is a buckler to all those that trust in him.

31 For who is God save the Lord? or who is a rock save our God?
32 It is God that girdeth me with strength, and maketh my way perfect.
Psalm 18:30-32 King James Version (KJV)
